Sunbird Aloes 'Crimson Column'

  • A large, stemmed plant with semi-upright leaves. During the winter months a ‘crimson column’ of flower towering above the rosette, strikingly accentuated by the bright green leaves with up to 7 well-branched inflorescences participate in the colour display. The developing buds show the same red colour, long before the flowers start opening, thus extending the period of colour from this cultivar, an additional consideration if masses of glowing red upright racemes are what you like. Aloe ‘Crimson Column’ is the plant to provide all of this.

The plant rarely produces stem shoots and may take several years before the rosette divides.

    Available in 8L bag size.
