This small aloe hybrid with its blood red flower buds and white open flowers is particularly suited to container planting or a small pocket in the front of the rockery. There is little doubt that it is a favourite with gardeners. While it is in flower (which can be any time after midsummer and all through winter) it steals the attention away from most other similarly sized plants.

The branched inflorescences - up to 4 in mature plants - follow each other over a period of months and provide colour for a very long time. The flowers themselves are also longer lasting than many other small aloes.

The leaves are greenish grey with feint whitish spots and grow to a length of about 15cm.
