As its name suggests this little yellow-flowered grass aloe hybrid contains genetic material from a small aloe that occurs, inter alia, at Oribi Gorge in KZN. This is a high rainfall area, so ‘Oribi Gorge’ can be expected to deal with water much easier than some of the other small aloe cultivars. It produces its flowers during the second half of summer, often into the colder months as well. Short racemes are carried on multiple, stout inflorescences.
