Not only does the blood red-to-yellow flower color catch your eye. The angle of the massive racemes shows that this cultivar is something out of the ordinary. “Sabre” produces multiple, branched inflorescences, resulting in an awesome display from midwinter onwards. The detail of the individual open flower is just as spectacular.

This large, slow-stemming aloe has dark green leaves and does not produce stem shoots. It will, however, divide the rosette, which is good news for the gardener because it means more flowers in the next season.

Utilized in open planting, a sensational cultivar in the rockery, or in landscaping. Best recorded flowering display: 3 inflorescences with a total of 11 large racemes.
